Diet & Supplements vs. ADHD with Danielle MacDowell

This presentation will explore the role of functional nutrition in supporting individuals with ADHD. Key topics include common nutrient deficiencies and dietary patterns associated with ADHD, as well as the evidence behind various dietary approaches. Danielle will also review both conventional and functional assessments used in ADHD care and highlight supplements that may offer targeted support. 

Danielle holds master’s degrees in Severe Special Education and Human Nutrition and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), and licensed dietitian nutritionist (LDN). She is also a certified functional medicine ADHD provider with specialized training in using nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support ADHD. With over 12 years of experience in special education, Danielle integrates behavioral and nutritional interventions to support neurodiverse individuals. Through her practice, True Potential Nutrition, she focuses on optimizing mental, gut, and brain health across all abilities.
